The Monsterverse Halloween Quest

Who better to teach you about monsters than the creatures themselves? Between 18th-26th October, meet a mischievous vampire and a wily witch who bring the Halloween magic to life through interactive shows, stories, and silly scares. Follow the quest around the castle to solve creepy clues and discover monster secrets perfect for all ages.

Explore Dover Castle’s Secret Wartime Tunnels

Your Halloween admission includes access to Dover Castle’s remarkable underground network. Descend deep beneath the castle into the Secret Wartime Tunnels where Operation Dynamo – the miraculous Dunkirk evacuation – was masterminded during World War II. This immersive experience brings history to life with sounds, projections, and atmospheric storytelling.

Medieval Great Tower & Battlements

Climb the magnificent Great Tower and step back into medieval times. Discover the pomp and pageantry of King Henry II’s court with beautifully recreated royal apartments. The castle’s dramatic battlements offer breathtaking views across the English Channel to France on clear days. Children can practice defending their own castle in the exciting Siege Play Area, and explore the ancient Roman Pharos, one of Britain’s oldest surviving structures.
