Prince's Golf Club
Championship Links Golf and Historic Open Venue in Sandwich Bay
Prince’s Golf Club offers 27 holes of world-class championship links golf in the spectacular dunes of Sandwich Bay, Kent. As the 1932 Open Championship venue where Gene Sarazen claimed victory and introduced the sand wedge to world golf, Prince’s stands proudly alongside its famous neighbour Royal St George’s as one of England’s most prestigious links courses.
Historic Championship Heritage
Founded in 1906 and designed by Charles Hutchings, Prince’s has a remarkable golfing pedigree. The club hosted the legendary 1932 Open Championship where American Gene Sarazen pioneered the use of his newly invented sand iron, forever changing the game of golf. Prince’s will also host the prestigious 2030 Walker Cup, confirming its status among world golf’s elite venues.
